Both of us were raised in non-Christian French Canadian Catholic homes and encountered God in our 20’s. It was a drastic change. We had never read the bible. Our lives were changed forever. Married in 1978, our desire was to have a family. After a long wait, the doctors sadly informed us that it would be impossible for us to have children. The Lord heard our cry, healed us, and blessed us with 2 beautiful boys who are now serving God with their wives and children. We both worked in the industry for 24 years, prior to full-time ministry in a church setting.
Our Connection to Restoring The Foundations
While in full-time ministry, we were deeply hurt through betrayal, jealousy and slander. We tried to hide these hurts as much as we possibly could and tried to put a lid on them but these deep and wounded hurts just wouldn’t go. We became bitter, unforgiving and traumatized. We needed much help. We heard about Restoring the Foundations and applied for a week of thorough format. The Lord met us exactly at our place of need and healed both of our hearts through the integrated approach. God took us out of despair and brought us back to a place where we could be alive again in Him. RTF gave us tools to use on a daily basis. As a couple, we decided to regularly use these tools to fight against any counterattacks of the enemy. We became HHN ministers in 2019.
We remember Jason Upton’s lyrics in one of his songs says, “The church is sick in need of God alone, people we must seek His face.” We do realize that the church is sick and in need of healing. We all need intimacy with our Father God and our passion is to create a safe place in the ministry room so that people will feel secure and will experience healing and greater intimacy with God. Our desire and passion is to help restore people back to spiritual/mental/physical health one person at a time through the redemptive work of Christ.
We have no specific requirements for someone to go through ministry with us. Our desire is for everyone to be encountered and healed by their Heavenly Father. People can come as they are. We are presently living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We look forward to hearing from you.
