| What an incredible thing it is to partner with the Lord in helping others remove barriers, break through “lids”, heal from hurts, and embrace healing as His love and truth become a reality. As a minister, I have had the privilege of seeing God’s hand move in the most incredible of ways in the lives of countless people. In my own life, I’ve experienced His unconditional, transformational love and peace in a way that cannot be explained other than miraculous. I’m thankful to say that I have learned how to let Him do what only He could do while allowing Him to empower me to be all that He created me to be.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and now live in McKinney, Texas along with my husband and three daughters (never a dull moment, and I love it : )!! We enjoy pastoring, building the local church, traveling, puzzles, camping, coffee, and a good laugh! |
Our Connection to Restoring The Foundations
| I was introduced to RTF by a friend who is one of God’s greatest gifts to me!! At that point in my life, I had been in full-time ministry for 19 years and had hit a “wall” of sorts that I just couldn’t get through. I remember feeling like I was too much yet not enough, all at the same time. I was feeling discouraged and exhausted. No matter how much I prayed and read my Bible, I felt as if I was stuck.
After going through Thorough Format, I realized that I had many wounds in my heart that I had just seemingly pushed aside. There were so many lies that I believed as truth but just couldn’t see the difference between the two. I didn’t realize that I actually needed HEALING in these areas (childhood trauma, relational wounds, ministry hurts, etc). I became aware of how many principles and promises I “knew” in my mind but didn’t quite “believe” in my heart! I was able to extend forgiveness and truly see myself (and others) the way Jesus does. I came to understand that Jesus died on the cross, not only for my sins and for the healing of my body, but for the healing of my heart as well. This is when I knew that I wanted to get trained so that I could help others experience His love, healing, and wholeness in the same way! |
| With over 25 years of full-time ministry experience, I’ve had the honor and privilege of leading and developing teenage girls as well as women in all stages of life. Ministering to teenage girls is a passion of mine because these formative years are crucial in building a strong foundation and understanding of the love of Jesus. It is His love that casts out all fear and it is in His love that we find perfect rest and peace for our souls. As we grow into womanhood, the weight of responsibility and sphere of influence grows and so do the pressures of life. With that pressure, what is inside of us will come out, and often this is when we recognize that something has to change.
So many women are still feeling the effects of childhood trauma, relational wounds, and even just the difficulties that come with life! If you find yourself there, I am here to tell you that there is HOPE for you!! In addition, I am incredibly passionate about helping women who are on a church staff and/or women whose husbands are a part of a church staff. This is very close to my heart as I can not only understand but relate to many of the blessings as well as challenges that come with this calling. In short, no matter one’s age or stage of life, it is incredibly beneficial to experience the healing, freedom, and wholeness that only Jesus can bring. It is absolutely possible to experience a “heart made free” no matter how hopeless someone may feel or how hurt they may be….there is hope for everyone! It is my passion and joy to help people connect to the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father. It is His love that brings healing! It is His love that brings freedom!
