Some of my first memories are of being in church. Church has been a fundamental part of my life; however, it was in a moment of desperation that led me to have a dramatic encounter with the Living God that changed my understanding of who God is as a Loving God. That encounter made me hunger and thirst for more and more of Him, yet, I was constantly frustrated that I just couldn’t “get there”. Experiencing childhood rejection, generational fears, emotional abuse, and shame from my own sinful behaviors left me depressed, angry, and performance-driven well into adulthood. These deep emotional wounds impacted all facets of my life as I continued in my roles as a wife, mother, and small business owner. My hurting and wounded heart gave me a passion for helping others to be healed and returned to the joy and destiny He has ordained for each of us, His Children.
God has given me a deep desire to build my life around bringing healing to the broken-hearted people who are everywhere around me. He has brought me physically to the beach community of my dreams on St. Simons Island, GA to live out the destiny and calling He placed on my life.
Our Connection to Restoring The Foundations
As a depressed, defeated, and guilt-riddled Christian, I wondered where was the abundant life that Jesus promised me. Abundant life was a sentence in the bible and made for a great talking point among Christians. For me, it was an ethereal concept, one that I had to work for, and was always just out of reach.
Experiencing RTF ministry for the first time showed me how much the painful life experiences, deep emotional wounds, flawed beliefs, and trauma from deaths of close family members, all served to block me from experiencing the relationship with The Father that my heart longed for. My broken and wounded heart began to be healed by experiencing the healing touch of Jesus. I began to understand Jesus as the one who really heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free! The unique RTF integrated approach to ministry provides a safe place to encounter Jesus’ healing touch, bringing freedom from oppression to gain lasting peace and joy.
As an RTF Minister, I help to facilitate encounters with Jesus for the ones that He sends my way. It is my great joy to watch the Lord bring peace, joy, and relief from oppressive burdens to those whose hearts are wounded and heavy. Ministry sessions address generational sinful patterns, negative belief systems, and deep emotional wounds from traumatic experiences, in a safe, judgment-free environment. The results are truly amazing. Clients walk away with a renewed identity as a son rather than an orphan, new godly ways of believing about themselves and others, and true healing of the heart. It is so very rewarding to watch as depressed, fearful, angry, anxious, and suspicious people begin ministry sessions, and end up leaving our ministry time feeling lighter, happy, full of joy and peace as life-long heavy burdens are released to the Lord. He knows just where to touch your heart to heal your hurt!
